The East Durham Play and Community Network (the Network) is a registered charity, formed in 1990 to promote high quality play opportunities through the provision of affordable materials for creative play and the best available equipment designed to develop stimulating play.
Reasearch shows since the project started there has been a increase in membership numbers and survey results have indicated the growing need and value of our services.
The Network has provided children with the best possible start in life and has supported many families and children to learn a wide range of new skills, which will support them throughout their lives.
Geographically the Network covers the County Durham area and is supported and sponsored by local organisations and business. Thanks to this support we are able to offer the finest educational and stimulating play opportunities to children throughout the area at no additional cost to their parents.

Children's Fancy Dress Costumes.
THE NEED
A good education for our children is essential to the future of our society and the individual child. Stimulating the ability to learn and providing a good foundation for education is as important as the education itself. The Network provides this learning through play in a fun enjoyable way.
