East Durham Play & Community Network is a registered charity formed in 1990 to promote quality childcare and creative play opportunities for all children.
The network serves a large part of County Durham and is able to provide everything required for play enabling children to partake in a wide range of stimulating and enjoyable activities. East Durham Play and Community Network Community Creche provides sessional day-care for children 0-5 years of age for businesss ,agencies, organising seminars, training events, conferences , workshops and weddings.
Buildings are registered by Ofsted Registration & Inspection Unit to provide sessional day-care of up to four hours in any one day. Creches need to operate in the registered buildings unless they are for five sessions or less in any one year. All creches operate within Ofsted guidelines.
All staff are qualified and experienced with a commitment to providing quality childcare for all children's and undergo relevant CRB clearance checks. A range of agreed policies and procedures are followed by the Community Creche as recommended by Ofsted Registration and Inspection Unit.

A representative of the Network will be available to discuss any Creche requirements to make sure all appropriate guidelines are adhered too.
Note for Parents/carers:

Children will not be admitted to the Creche if suffering from an illness, infectious or not.

Please ensure children arrive with a clean nappy and that a spare clean nappy is available to enable staff to change the child as required.

Please dress children practically for play.

Children will not be allowed to leave without the person they arrived with unless prior notice is given to staff of any changes regarding collection.
