Play Rangers (two posts)
This is an exciting and innovative project which is based on the recognition of the value of play to the health of children and their communities. The workers will use their knowledge of play values to develop and deliver activities, and will be advocates for children’s rights and play. The nature of the work is outreach and will be largely outside. The workers will need to develop links with local community groups and parents to make the project a success.
You will have:
• Extensive experience of working with children/youth and community groups
• Knowledge of the importance of play for all children/young people
• Initiative and the ability to manage your own workload
• Ability to work flexible hours
• A sense of fun

Are you organising a Training Event, Seminar, Conference, Workshop ?
Here at the East Durham Play & Community Network we have the answer our Mobile Creche Provision. Parents, carers can participate in the session whilst their children are being cared for by our Qualified Childcare Workers.
All children will be welcomed into a fun, happy, comfortable environment and have the opportunity to engage in physical, intellectual, emotional and social development through planned activities and free play.
Childcare staff have a selection of toys, games, art / craft activities which are suitable for all children.
Our Mobile Creche adheres to the Birth to three matters also Every Child Matters Framework. A range of policies and procedures are followed and are recommended by Ofsted Registration and Inspection Unit. Staff are qualified and experienced with a commitment to providing good quality childcare and undergo all relevant Ofsted checks.
